Some of the brushes ARE really light, so they're hard to see. My suggestion is to go to my tutorials section and watch the tutorial on eyeshadow and eyelashes brushes. It will show you me using some of these, and how to make best use of them.

Hi Stephanie,

My Eyelash brush brushes real light that I can't really see them. I tried moving the layer with the brush to the top layer, I made sure I was painting black, and I tried different blend modes. Can you tell me what I may be doing wrong or offer some suggestions?

Thanks

When you unzip the file, there will be a txt file and an "ABR" file. The ABR file is the brushes file, and I have instructions on how to install it in my tutorials section (or click on "How to install?" next to the download button).

If you're only getting a txt file, then there's something going wrong with whatever program you're using to extract the file.

If you're using a special ZIP program, try using just the basic extraction utility that came with your operating system.

Try doing a search for ABR files, or "eyeshadow". I assure you, it's there somewhere if it extracted properly. :)

Check out one of my latest brushes, which also has a tutorial accompanying it. It's made just for blending skin, and should work for you. "Skin Textures Photoshop Brushes" is what you want, and it's in my latest releases on the front page of the website.

Hi stephanie, when i apply guassian blur and other tools to smooth the face skin it doesn't look too real.
