And finally, some brushes again. Here’s a set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various glittery swirls and flourishes. If any of you remember my “Dangling Glows” set, many of the swirls are made up of similar types of glows, while others are comprised of glitter and sparkles. They are all extremely high resolution, with an average size of about 2100 pixels.
This set combines the ideas of two of our most popular sets here at Obsidian Dawn: Glitter and Swirls & Flourishes II. Hope that you enjoy!

How do i put this on my Gimp 2.6?
Open the folder your GIMP is in and go to: GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\brushes
Copy the .abr or other brush files into the brushes folder :)

I have tried on two different occasions to download the HD Glittery Swirl Brushes and am unable to download them. The file starts to download but doesn’t get very far and then just freezes.
Hmm. I’m not sure why it would be doing that – I just downloaded it without a problem. There may have been a temporary problem where I host my files, perhaps. If you continue to have trouble, let me know and I’ll happily email it to you.
These brushes look fantastic but when I download them they don’t download as a file where I can see all the brushes it’s just a single file that will not open.:I
Click on the “How to Install” button right by the download button. That’ll explain it. You don’t just open these like you do regular files, you just have to put them in the right folder.

I figured out why it wasn't working. But do you know how to unzip the folders because when I download them they don't unzip. D:

There is a button right next to the download button on the pages where you get the brushes that has “How to Install” on it. That’ll explain the entire process, including a link that explains how to unzip.
