Nope. Brushes cannot come in “full color” – they’re made to be used only in whatever color you have selected. This can be great in some situations, and not so great in others. So, if you want the stuff to look like my preview image, go to my tutorials section and follow the instructions in “Multiple Colors with Brushes” – that’ll explain how I did this.

Or find some full color images to use, if you want to save time. :)

I have some christmas lights & ornaments PNGs, which ARE in full color. They’re in the images section.

First off, love this site, thanks

Second, some of these brushes like Holiday brushes show in full color in the example to download; however, both the brushes as well as the image pack only show up in black and white. Are these available as .jpg, or .png files in full coler?

ABR files don’t just work with Photoshop. Not anymore. GIMP added the functionality for Photoshop brushes to be used within their program at version 2.2.6. I have instructions on how to install them in GIMP in a tutorial that’s linked in my sidebar – “Installing Brushes”. If you’re still having trouble after that, I’m afraid I can’t help you – I don’t use GIMP. :( But they DO work! Thousands of GIMP users have used my brushes successfully. Good luck!

The brushes are great, but I don’t have Photoshop. It says that it’s GIMP-compatible, but when I download it it only has .abr — something that only works with Photoshop. Is there any way I can change this to use them as a GIMP brush?
