In the meantime, you could use the images to make your own brushes quite easily - it's as simple as a menu command, with the JPG file open. I found the vertical one, and the two diagonal ones, but in the image pack there's an image called 'scales.jpg' which doesn't appear in the brushes pack... also there's 33 images in the image pack but I think there's only 31 in the brushes pack- because that's all my computer has. Did you change which ones were on the brushes pack compared to the image pack? I just downloaded them and extracted the ZIP file just fine, so what I'm guessing is happening is it's becoming corrupted somewhere in your download. Try downloading it again, and then follow my instructions in my sidebar under "Getting Started" for how to install brushes to make sure you're doing it all right.
