I’ve added an Obsidian Dawn group at Flickr, where you can share your work created using Obsidian Dawn resources. Please feel free to join and upload your images! I plan on checking in there regularly to check stuff out. There’s a link in the sidebar, as “Share Images” under the “Other Links” section or click on the Flickr icon beneath the “Follow Us” section – for future reference.
This set of Adobe Illustrator vectors is composed of various shapes of snowflakes. Some are perfectly symmetrical, some are more roughly hand “drawn” (much like those unique real flakes!).
These vectors can come in several different formats. You can download these in various formats:
- AI 8+ (which includes both AI and EPS files – made for Illustrator 8 and above)
- AI CS (which includes both AI and EPS files – made for Illustrator CS and above)
- SVG vector files

Programs: Illustrator 8+, any vector program
Vectors: 30
Size: 744KB (AI 8+), 1.49MB (AI CS+), 120KB (SVG)
Download the AI 8+ compatible vectors

Please read my terms of use before downloading!
Photoshop and Illustrator Tip:
Photoshop can open up EPS and AI files, too, but it will treat them like regular images.
However, if you own both Illustrator and Photoshop, you can transfer vector shapes back and forth between Illustrator and Photoshop in several ways.
Select the path(s) that you want to move and CTRL-C (CMD-C for Mac) to copy. Move over to the other program and CTRL-V (CMD-V for Mac) to paste.
If you’re copying a path from Photoshop to Illustrator, it will ask you if you want to copy it as a Compound Shape (which is fully editable) or a Compound Path (which is faster).
If you’re copying a vector path or paths from Illustrator to Photoshop, it will ask you if you want to copy them as a Smart Object (which Photoshop re-renders every time you resize it to prevent loss of quality), Pixels (just pixels), a Path (a Photoshop path), or a Shape Layer (a Photoshop shape, which defaults to being filled in with your currently selected foreground layer).

Do you have a site you recommend with great tutorials for Illistrator I want to learn how to use vector graphics to build my own graphics. I have photoshop and illistrator. Thanks!
@Carrie: I’m afraid not. I’m learning everything in Illustrator as I go, and not really using any sites. So I’m not sure, sorry! :( Maybe someone else will answer in a comment, though.
These are great, thank you! And they work just fine in Inkscape too. (Inkscape is an open source vector editor – Inkscape is to Illustrator what Gimp is to Photoshop.)
