Fallen Autumn Leaves Transparent PNGs

Today’s release is a set of various photos of fallen autumn leaves as transparent PNGs. It can be used in any program that will support *.PNG files. (Photoshop, GIMP, PSP, and many more) These images are extremely high resolution, with the average being about 2300×2000 pixels @ 300 dpi.

Included are various types and colors of leaves, all picked up from the freshly fallen multicolored autumn foliage. You’ll find some red, orange, brown, and even some purple-ish leaves within, all on transparent backgrounds.

To use them, it’s as easy as opening up the file and copy/pasting into your own design.

Grass Transparent PNGs

This set of various photos of grass as transparent PNGs can be used in any program that will support *.PNG files. Photoshop, GIMP, PSP, and many more. These images average about 2500 pixels (square-ish) in size @ 300 dpi.

Included are various clumpings of grass, as well as a few blades of grass on their own. They all have a transparent background, and can be very easily copy/pasted into your own work. There is also a large grouping of the grass that I’ve already put together in various layers for you, for use as a foreground. You can use them on their own, layer them to give them a bit more depth, etc. etc.

Snowflake Vectors Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

Happy New Year!

Just wanted to let you all know that Obsidian Dawn’s releases might be a bit slower for a month or so. We’re relocating/moving in a few days (not the website, my house), and I’m not entirely sure when we’ll be settled in at the new place. Things should pick up again in February or so. Also, there will be no CDs available until that time, either. I just won’t have the time for it, sorry! Check back in February!

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various snowflake shapes, all as vectors. These are all very high resolution, about 2000 pixels in size.

These brushes are composed of various shapes of snowflakes. Some are perfectly symmetrical, some are more roughly hand “drawn” (much like those unique real flakes!).

Frost Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of frost shapes. These come in several different types. First, you have a few icy and frosty frames to frame photos. Also included are some single frost shapes – the standard feathery shape. There are also some that are in the shape of lines, some swirly frost shapes, and some pre-made frost textures that you can just click once to create some frost. Lastly, we have lots of brushes that were made to paint the frost in textures. These are so easy to use, and you can use them to create your own wintery frost textures! (They are, in fact, what I used to create the textures brushes and the frost frames.)

No releases next week, as I’ll be out of town for Christmas. For those of you that know me or have been following my blog posts for a while, I just wanted to let you know that the hubby is back home from Iraq safely – and here to stay for at least a year! What a Christmas gift, eh?

Flower Sketches Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various flower sketches. Most are around 1700 pixels high or wide, so they’re very high resolution.

All of these were drawn by hand, so they won’t be symmetrical like our Flower Vectors Photoshop & GIMP Brushes were. They have a sketched look to them, as well. Within this set you will find many various flowers, including a few on stems.

Lightning II Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various shapes of lightning bolts. All created from scratch, original designs. These are all extremely high resolution, with the average size being about 2200 pixels.

Includes single bolts, which you could use on their own OR put together to create your own forking bolts. Also includes groupings of bolts already put together.

Floral Photoshop Patterns

Foliage Swirls Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various foliage and swirls in vector designs. While some swirls are included, this set was made to be used along with the Swirls Parts Photoshop brushes set, although it works out great on its own, as well!

These are high resolution, with the average size being approximately 1500 pixels. Included are several branches, various flowers (lily, rose, etc), foliage, leaves (single and grouped), pussywillow, several stems (or grass), and swirls.

Spanish Moss Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various shapes of spanish moss. Spanish moss is that beautiful moss that you see hanging from various trees in the tropics, swamps, etc.

These come in clumps, dangling tendrils and loops. They were all made from personal photographs. hey don’t just “cut off” on the edges, either… so you could use them in places where the top doesn’t need to be hidden or against the edge of the canvas, etc.

All are fairly high resolution – average size is about 1500 pixels.

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various kinds of glowing bugs. They’re all flying insects, and most of them are in vector form (other than the glows around them). These are extremely high resolution, averaging about 2300 pixels in size.

This set includes some dragonflies, various bugs, lightning bugs (fireflies), moths, butterflies, and even a few pair of glowing wings on their own.

Light Beams Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various light beams and rays of light. It includes beams like those from spotlights, sunlight like you would see coming through branches, lighthouse light beams, sunburst type effects (full circles as well as half and three quarters of the burst), and even some particles to add to your beams of light to make it look like floating dust.

These are extremely high resolution, averaging about 2250 pixels in size.
