Nuts Transparent PNGs

Obsidian Dawn brushes have been used in a book trailer for “Calling Mr. Lonely Hearts” by Laura Benedict, published by Ballentine Books. You can view the trailer for Calling Mr. Lonely Hearts here. The brush sets (and commercial licenses for those sets) that were used are Arcane Circles and Birds (Flying).

And now on to today’s release!

This set of nuts as transparent PNGs can be used in any program that will support *.PNG files. Photoshop, GIMP, PSP, and many more. These images are average about 600 x 600 pixels in size @ 300 dpi.

These metal nuts images are taken from various angles. Several are from above and several are from a 45° angle.

Snowflake Illustrator Vectors

I’ve added an Obsidian Dawn group at Flickr, where you can share your work created using Obsidian Dawn resources. Please feel free to join and upload your images! I plan on checking in there regularly to check stuff out. There’s a link in the sidebar, as “Share Images” under the “Other Links” section or click on the Flickr icon beneath the “Follow Us” section – for future reference.

This set of Adobe Illustrator vectors is composed of various shapes of snowflakes. Some are perfectly symmetrical, some are more roughly hand “drawn” (much like those unique real flakes!).

These vectors can come in several different formats. You can download these in various formats:

AI 8+ (which includes both AI and EPS files – made for Illustrator 8 and above)
AI CS (which includes both AI and EPS files – made for Illustrator CS and above)
SVG vector files

Exposed Brick Transparent PNGs Images

This set of exposed brick as transparent PNGs can be used in any program that will support *.PNG files. Photoshop, GIMP, PSP, and many more. These images are extremely high resolution, with the average size being about 2800 x 2800 pixels @ 300 dpi. That being the case, they are broken up into two downloads.

The first download are all of the red bricks, and the second is made up of the multicolored, more grayish bricks. Alternately, for those that don’t need high resolution, I have a low res version, where the images are about 800 x 800 pixels.

These images are made to look like the plaster (or other wall material) has chipped away and is revealing the brick wall beneath.

Glitter II Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

Quick note about Obsidian Dawn’s RSS feed. I apparently failed to change an obscure setting at Feedburner and those of you that subscribed to RSS since the redesign may not be getting updates. My apologies for that! It should be working fine now. Not sure why I seem to have been cursed when it comes to the RSS and the redesign, but I suppose I should be thankful that the rest turned out fairly well!

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various glitter and sparkles designs. These are all high resolution, with the average size being about 1500 pixels.

This set includes “curtains” of glitter, lines and wavy lines of sparkles, various clusters of glitter and sparkles, glittery textures, several beautiful glittery swirls, a few individual glittery shapes, glitter “shooting out” from one source, and several glitter and sparkle scatter brushes (the kind that will allow YOU to paint your own glitter!), and much more!

Also includes a fountain pen in the form of a feather, an ink bottle, and a feather inside an ink bottle. These are all high resolution, with the average size being about 1800 pixels.

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various random scattered letters, symbols, runes, etc. Some have just a few, some are much more dense, others are swirly. Being that these are just text, they’re also vectors. High resolution, with the average size being about 1900 pixels.

Lightning II Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various shapes of lightning bolts. All created from scratch, original designs. These are all extremely high resolution, with the average size being about 2200 pixels.

Includes single bolts, which you could use on their own OR put together to create your own forking bolts. Also includes groupings of bolts already put together.

Earth Friendly Vectors Photoshop & GIMP Brushes

A set of Photoshop & GIMP brushes composed of various vector shapes involving the earth and nature. Kind of a “green” set of brushes, if you will. Ecologically friendly, earth friendly… whatever you want to call it, these should help you represent it! These are all high resolution, and the average brush size is about 2000 pixels.

Includes various earth images (an earth inside a giant set of hands, nestled safely in a leaf, with a heart around it, inside a flower, next to some leaves, with a tree growing out of it, etc), flowers, 2 sets of grasses, several leaves, a leaf and a water drop, 2 regular recycling images, 1 water recycling image, and some trees!
